RCS is cool and all that but I just miss when my phone had an app that had my text messages in it I went along with the bandwagon because I thought that maybe I'd be able to actually backup my android text messages to be able to view them after switching devices or doing a backup; but that was not the case . . . disappointed Google. I'm not mad, just disappointed

The app shows live updates especially if you have locations tied to other contacts. However if you have more than one Gmail address it can get wonky with your contacts. I wonder if the developers have thought about creating widgets for this app? Kind of like the ones that come with WhatsApp. For instance, there is one that lets you see the most recent unread messages messages that have come through without having to open the app.

It's a very annoying app. Youw open a contact, and the first things you see are history and storage locations.! Who cares about that? I want to see phone number, address, etc, none of which you can see unless you select edit! Really stupid. Open source apps are not created with the end user in mind. Plus, there's no selection tab on the right side of the screen to select a letter, A, B, C. etc. Just scroll till you get close then scroll some more.
